Japanese-based multinational automotive manufacturer, Toyota Motor has announced that it will launch its new generation Toyota Yaris Sedan in August 2022 in the international market.
Toyota Yaris Sedan:

The Toyota Yaris sedan which is also known as the Vios is a popular B-segment vehicle in the automotive region. The current third version of the vehicle debuted in 2013. Toyota has released the fourth generation TNGA-based Yaris hatchback in October 2019. Now receiving numerous updates about the new version of the sedan, which is yet to be release. Toyota has finally started development on a completely new model of Toyota Yaris Sedan, which will make its global debut in August in Thailand, one of the company’s key markets.
Yaris sedan will have D92A Code:

Unlike previous Yaris generations, the new one will employ code D92A rather than the XP codename first-gen XP40, second-gen XP90, and third-gen XP150. This is because the new Yaris sedan will built on the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) platform.
New Sedan builds on DNGA Platform:

Internally, the car will be designate as D92A, and the letter D in the code indicates that it will built on a Daihatsu platform. The platform currently underpins the Toyota Raize SUV and its Daihatsu cousin, the Rocky. Daihatsu New Global Architecture platform (DNGA) is a modular unibody automobile platform that has used to underpin various Japanese and overseas emerging newer cars and SUVs. The DNGA platform is a modified version of Toyota’s TNGA modular platform, which is utilize in a wide range of cars and SUVs around the world. The new platform will enhance the weight reduction, stiffness, and safety of the next-generation Yaris sedan.
Next Generation Toyota Yaris spotted in testing:


Toyota has begun road testing the next-generation Yaris sedan, with camouflaged test mules spotted on Thailand’s highways. More photographs of the upcoming Toyota Yaris tested ahead of its launch in Thailand are now available which indicates the design of the vehicle. Despite the camouflage covering its overall appearance, it looks to be influence in part by the Daihatsu DN F-Sedan concept. Daihatsu DN F-Sedan has shown at the 2017 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). Moreover, the future four-door vehicle appears to be larger than the present Vios.
Upcoming Yaris Appearance:

But it has expected that it to share engine options with the Toyota Raize SUV, which will include 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol and a 1.0-liter turbocharged DOHC 16-valve, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine under its hood. There are rumors that hybrid technology could be brought to Toyota’s SUV lineup soon, which could benefit the next-generation Yaris.
Launched Date of New Sedan:

According to sources, the company will launch a new sedan in the international automotive industry in the second half of this year. Toyota Motor Corporation has revealed that the new generation Toyota Yaris sedan will be launch in Thailand in August 2022.
Toyota Yaris Sedan Price:

The price of the Toyota Yaris sedan coming from the company has not been revealed yet. Toyota is expected to announce the price of the new generation at the launch of the car. It could in the ballpark cost between Rs. 12 and Rs. 20 lakhs.
Will New Sedan launch in Pakistan?
In Pakistan, the old version of the Yaris is on its way out, and it will most likely be replaced by a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in the near future. There is no indication that the next-generation automobile would arrive in Pakistan anytime soon.
