Isuzu D-Max Price Hike
According to the report, the company has revised the Isuzu D-Max price by up to Rs 860,000, and it’s inclusive of 17% general sales tax (GST). Here is the Price hike stated by Ghandhara Nissan for Isuzu D-Max trucks:

Double Cabin Vehicles Tax Under the Budget 2020-21
The government has increased the tax earlier in the budget announcement 2020-21 in which 7.5% FED tax has been imposed on locally manufacture double cabin 4×4 trucks. Meanwhile government has imposed a 25% FED Tax has been imported double cabin cars.
In Pakistan, people have to buy double cabin trucks for show-off and increase their status in society, as these vehicles are originally produced for commercial transportation and food supply purposes that’s why the government has increased the tax on its Federal Minister of Industries Hammad Raza stated in his budget speech.

Conclusion
Not only double cabin trucks prices increased in the local auto market even the prices of sedans and motorbikes also increase. Even the government has provided relief on motorists tax but we have never seen price reduce statements by auto manufacturers. The dollar rate is stuck at one point from the last few months but the price hike war still continues. Automakers face a massive decline in sales during the lockdown and might be they are recovering sales to adopt a price hike strategy. Local auto manufacturers including Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, and Toyota have been increased prices of all its vehicles.
