After much wait, Toyota Indus Motors has revealed the launching date of the Corolla Cross in Pakistan. The CEO of IMC has stated that Corolla Cross would be reached in Pakistan after one month means in December 2020. IMC will introduce the Completely Built Unit (CBU) of Corolla Cross in Pakistan. The launching of this vehicle surrounds social media for the last few months. Finally, it has been confirmed that the CBU unit will come to Pakistan next month and soon will be available for booking. Furthermore, he said Toyota Pakistan will import this unit from Thailand.
According to the report IMC Toyota will import minimal units of Corolla Cross in Pakistan. The company has planned to manufacture this vehicle in Pakistan. Pakistan automotive industry growing very fast new automakers enter the local market and increase the competition. The high competition market encourages automakers to produce more units with advanced technology to attract customers.

Engine & Transmission
Toyota Corolla Cross offered the TNGA-C platform which available in FWD and AWD. In Thailand Toyota Corolla Cross available in two engine options in which FWD is standard and equipped with 1.8L 2ZR-FBE that can produce a maximum output of 140 HP and 175 Nm of torque. The CVT transmission is used as a standard in the Thailand model.
The hybrid variant of Corolla Cross is paired with a 1.8L 2ZR-FXE engine which produces 98 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque. Its electric motor is paired with 72HP and 163Nm of torque. Its electric motor helps the engine to increase fuel efficiency.

Corolla Cross Exterior
The exterior look of Corolla Cross never mimics with Corolla sedan and hatchback. The wider front grill similar to the RAV4 current generation its rear look also matches with RAV4 rear side. The vehicle is bigger and beautifully designed. Its projector headlights with built-in DRL, black plastic cladding on wheels arch, sloping roof-line, and black roof rail makes this model a unique and elegant piece in the line-up of crossovers. Toyota offers 17” and 18” alloy wheels that depend on the trim level you have to choose.
