Overview
Government warmly welcomes the new automakers under the Auto Policy 2021-26. which shows the positive sidestep to enhance vehicle production in the country and improve automotive strength. This time government has taken an essential step for automakers to improve the worth of the vehicle in the country. The government has passed the notice to all manufacturers if no airbags no sale and give them a deadline till 30th June 2022. However, previously many times government has recalled this notice. Only a few companies offer airbags in all cars. Meanwhile, the government has imposed this rule for all vehicles in the country whatever locally manufactured or CBU units.
Auto Policy 2021-2026
Under the Auto Policy 2021-2026 all vehicles will introduce in Pakistan under the list of WP.29 regulations. Which is not followed yet by all automakers. This time government has made some UN vehicle regulations compulsory for all automotive companies. These regulations assure the vehicle steering, tires, brakes, lights, seat belts, seats and headrests, airbags, rear view mirrors, anti-theft devices, and many other safety features that are important for vehicle safety.
Pakistani Vehicles Without AirBags
Small is usually not with airbags in Pakistan. Which the Suzuki cars are higher. These cars are considered low-priced cars and automakers do not offer such safety features. Here is the list of locally assembled cars with no airbags:

Conclusion
Most Pakistani automakers never offer such safety features that are the biggest cause of death in road accidents high in Pakistan. Meanwhile, many times government has recalled this order and given a deadline to automakers to offer airbags in all vehicles. PAK Suzuki has a long list of vehicles with no airbags. This time government gives a deadline to automakers maybe its work.
