Automakers closed their production plants for almost two months. On 23rd March 2020 government order to close all manufacturing plants in the country due to the COVID-19. Due to the health security of people the government has not allowed anyone to start production activities in the country.
Recently PAMA reports that in the month of April 2020 there is no sale record of vehicles. This is the first time in Pakistan history that no sales record in the whole month. In the month of April 2020, the production of the vehicle was zero. Here is the official notice by Toyota Pakistan:

Now Toyota and Honda announced that they will restart production after Eid Holidays. It’s not only the auto industry that is affected by Coronavirus. The lockdown imposed all over Pakistan from 23rd March 2020. Reopening of production plants a great piece of news for automakers.
