Once again Yamaha Motor Corporation provides an opportunity for consumers to buy its bikes in easy installments. The company has announced an installment plan with a 0% markup for its motorcycles. As per the Yamaha social media report, this new facility is available for 12 months and it is specified to MCB debit and credit cardholders.

Installment Plan on Bikes With 0% Markup:

The official social media post shows that The Company has announced a special installment plan for motorbikes with 0% markup for specific Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) customers or credit cardholders. In addition, the Offer is available for all Yamaha motorcycles. To be clear, interested customers may visit the MCB nearest branch or can contact Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) helpline at 042-111-000-622 for more information regarding the installment plan.

What Could be the Reasons for this Offer on Yamaha Bikes?

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that Yamaha has introduced this offer as the company announced a similar installment for motorbikes last month. However, this facility was only valid at select dealerships and on a limited number of bikes.

Obviously, the company doesn’t have good intentions behind this offer, it has done this offer on Yamaha bikes to raise its sale. It is a clear sign of low sales, and through this installment offer on new bikes with a 0% markup, Yamaha plans to boost the Yamaha bike sale. According to the PAMA data, the company sold 2,503 units in the last two months, a considerable decrease from the 3,985 units sold during the same period last year.

The second and possibly main factor can be continual bike price increases by Yamaha. In 2022, the firm raised bike costs four times. In just 7-8 months this year, the average price of a Yamaha motorcycle increased from Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 which is a huge increase. All Yamaha bikes now cost more than Rs. 250,000 as a result of these rises, making them truly out of the price range of the average individual because the majority of people in Pakistan cannot afford such pricey bikes for daily use.
