They imposed 100% RD on <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/car-import\/\"><strong>imported cars<\/strong><\/a> and other luxury items to make imports expensive for them. It still charges per the current exchange rate at the time of import.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier a report come that <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/blog\/fbr-hints-regulatory-duty-to-re-imposed-on-imported-cars\/\">referenced the FBR Chairman Asim Ahmed<\/a><\/strong>. This report claimed that the government will reimpose RD at any time. The report asserted that the \u201cMinistry of Commerce has the right to take a decision about the imposing of taxes and resume after the approval of the Ministry\u201d. After the news imported dealers and customers are confuse to buy these cars or not.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-99847 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Overview-5-1024x576.png\" alt=\"Overview\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Is RD Re-imposed?<\/h2>\n<p>To declare the original view to our customers and readers we have collected some true information regarding the matter and bring fruitful material for our customers.<\/p>\n<p>As per the report, the FBR official rejects the statement of re-imposing tax. \u201cThe statement is not true and Chairman\u2019s statement is being issued out of context\u201d.
