The episode as a whole illustrates the effects of import restrictions imposed by the State Bank of Pakistan through non-production days, declining profits, and a sharp decline in sales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Because there are no CKD kits and nil stocks, our import industry is being destroyed, and the local vehicle manufacturers are bearing the brunt of this. The sale of locally assembled cars is already 53% down. Meanwhile, the Japanese Auto Franchise Dubbed Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) with many rates of non-production days.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Comparatively, that automaker was the most impacted. Pak Suzuki has a market share of more than 50 % but has now observed a severe downtrend in their sales. Yet the &#8220;Alto,&#8221; the nation&#8217;s best-selling <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/\"><strong>automotive<\/strong><\/a>, endured the worst.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Sales Report of Suzuki Alto:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Last year the <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new\/cars\/suzuki_8\"><strong>Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company<\/strong><\/a> (PSMC) sold 66,427 units of Suzuki Alto, as the record figure Pak Suzuki Company posted in terms of sales of single models. In Addition, the Pak Suzuki sold 125,947 units in 2022, out of which 53% were Altos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The car sale remains high for 7 months in 2022, exceeding Suzuki Mehran&#8217;s previous record for monthly sales. While, In the year 2023, the grim discovery of car sales is marking a new low. The Pak Suzuki Company has only sold 588 units in the last two months as compared to 11.039 units in the same period of the previous year 2022, 3,864 cars in January and 7,175 cars in February respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This means that the Sales of <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/suzuki\/alto-62\"><strong>Suzuki Alto<\/strong><\/a> declined by 95%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Overall Pak Suzuki Motors Sold 544 units of Suzuki Alto, 93 units of <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/suzuki\/wagon-r-64\"><strong>Suzuki Wagon R<\/strong><\/a>, 91 units of <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/suzuki\/bolan-66\"><strong>Suzuki Bolan<\/strong><\/a> (Carry Dabba), 72 units of <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/suzuki\/cultus-63\"><strong>Suzuki Cultus<\/strong><\/a>, and 67 units of <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/suzuki\/swift-75\"><strong>Suzuki Swift<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>What do you think of Alto&#8217;s declining sales?
