Its multiple models and years to park away from the structures, due to a fire risk. The <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/hyundai\/santa-fe-149\"><strong>Hyundai Santa Fe<\/strong><\/a> models from lately 2019 to 2023 are at risk, as are the models of KIA Carnival and\u00a0<\/span>Hyundai Santa Cruz<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0models of 2022-2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The risk-free stems from a defect with the tow-hitch harnesses that are well installed either as original equipment or purchased as a dealer accessory. The risk of fire occurs through a water accumulation on the tow hitch harness circuit board. This can be a reason for an electrical short and ultimately on fire. The<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Hyundai report on Recall:<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-99103 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/autodeals-blog.wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Hyundai-Snata-Fe-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"Hyundai Snata Fe\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Motor Co, Hyundai reports a total of 567,912 affected vehicles across combined models, though the estimated percentage of vehicles. The number of vehicles with the defect is only 1%, NHTSA documents show that the KIA is reporting 3555 vehicles potentially. This is estimating a 1 percent defect rate.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">NHTSA Documents show six incidents:<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">According to the NHTSA documents the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new\/cars\/hyundai_38\"><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Company Hyundai<\/span><\/strong><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> has identified a total of six incidents related to the recall. There was one report of fire among the occurrences, while the remaining five were of thermal damage to the caravan harness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-99104 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/autodeals-blog.wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/KIA-Grand-Carnival-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"KIA Grand Carnival\" width=\"1600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Additionally, per the NHTSA records, no <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/kia\/grand-carnival-169\"><strong>KIA Grand Carnival<\/strong><\/a> fires have been reported. The manufacturer has not apparently discovered any injuries linked to the recall.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Advice to Affected Vehicle Owners:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The owners of the affected vehicles are advised to park their cars outside, and at safe distance from any structure or other vehicle. The repair of these vehicles will be completed soon. The documents show that Hyundai has planned to inspect the affected vehicles and remove the tow hitch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Tow Hitch is necessary for working on a long-term solution. Dealers will install a new fuse and a wire extension kit as soon as the fix is available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>While the Documents from <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new\/cars\/kia_46\"><strong>KIA Company<\/strong><\/a> show their plan to verify whether the automobile has a genuine KIA accessory tow hitch. The Company will install a wire extension and a new fuse where it is necessary.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Other owner notification letters will be mailed to the owners of affected vehicles in May 2023.
