The Government carries no coercive and well-thought plan to repair the damage the economic breakdown has done to the local auto industry.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As a result, the assembly plants of various car companies are observing the lockdown in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Auto Manufacturers of Pakistan Association reports that month-to-month car sales mark a new downtrend. This decreased by 47 percent, selling 5,762 vehicles in February 2023. The episode narrates a series of tales or woes never ends here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Year-on-Year sales witnessed a decline of a Whopping 73 percent.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Company Sales Breakdown:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Honda Atlas (HCAR) car sales are marked as low. These dropped by 39 percent selling 1,636 units in February as compared to the 2,704 units in December.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Toyota Indus Motors (INDU) monthly sales observed a breakdown of 49 percent. The company sold 1803 units in Feb, against 3,570 units in January.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Pak Suzuki Company (PSMC) has surpassed its Japanese peers in terms of a decline in sales of 67 percent. The Pak Suzuki Company sold 978 cars last month while 2,945 cars in January.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">On the other side, the new entrant Hyundai Nishat witnessed a slight jump of 11 percent selling 1,271 units in the last month compared to 1,140 units in the month of January 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Car Sales Breakdown:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Toyota Indus has sold 1,091 <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/toyota\/corolla-76\"><strong>Toyota Corolla<\/strong><\/a> and Yaris vehicles and 712 <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/toyota\/fortuner-90\"><strong>Toyota Fortuner<\/strong><\/a> and Hilux vehicles. The Honda Atlas has sold 1,244 Civic and City models, as well as 392 BR-V and HR-V models.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Pak Suzuki Company has sold 544 units of the <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/suzuki\/alto-62\"><strong>Suzuki Alto<\/strong><\/a>, 72 units of the <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/suzuki\/cultus-63\"><strong>Suzuki Cultus<\/strong><\/a>, and 93 units of the <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/suzuki\/wagon-r-64\"><strong>Suzuki Wagon R<\/strong><\/a>, 67 units of the Suzuki Swift.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Hyundai Nishat has sold 243 units of the new <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/hyundai\/elantra-152\"><strong>Elantra<\/strong><\/a>, 197 units of the <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/hyundai\/sonata-527\"><strong>Hyundai Sonata<\/strong><\/a>, and 708 units of the <a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/new-cars\/hyundai\/tucson-157\"><strong>Hyundai Tucson<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ongoing Economic disaster and Closed LCs which are leading to production shutdowns have further shattered the already low Car sales.
