The joint venture was established by the two large Japanese industrial companies back in May 2022. The name of its new EV Prototype brand has been disclosed by Sony Honda Mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ‘Afeela,’ as the company calls it, has also revealed a prototype<\/a> at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In terms of the design Afeela EV prototype, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The bottom part of the automobile is exceedingly straight and minimal, while the roof line aggressively tapers down to achieve a coupe shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Porsche and Lucid’s automobiles have provided a lot of inspiration. The vehicle’s designed throughout, especially the front LED light bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Sony is claim to have been involve in the design and development process as well. Unlike Apple and Google automobiles, where each company is suppose to just develop software in the Afeela EV prototype.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Aside from Afeela automobiles with Sony, Honda<\/a> is also planning for an EV future. It was evident with the introduction of the NSX hybrid supercar and the Honda e compact electric hatchback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Prologue will be Honda’s first long-range electric car, develop in collaboration with General Motors. There will also be an EV under Honda’s Acura name, both of which will be built on General Motors’ Ultium platform.<\/p>\n\n\n

    The Afeela EV prototype powertrain will reveal, but it will include a double-wishbone suspension in the front and a multi-link suspension in the back, as well as an all-wheel drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The production model will also employ Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis technology, which gives drivers artificial intelligence systems, greater personalization, and other intuitive technologies, according to Sony Honda Mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n
