This judgment allows the State Bank to accept petitions for previously submitted transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Banks were expected to request approval from the State Bank&#8217;s Foreign Exchange Operations Department for clearance under notifications issued in May and July 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-import-effect-on-the-automobile-industry\"><strong>The Import Effect on the Automobile Industry<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since mid-2022, the company has been suffering a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/blog\/\">manufacturing<\/a><\/strong> stoppage, which has harmed its monthly sales. The relaxation of import restrictions will allow manufacturers to resume manufacturing and sales. As long as they do not increase prices further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Import<\/strong> <strong>Restrictions lifted from SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) chapters<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The SBP has removed the limitations from HS Code <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbp.org.pk\/fe_returns\/custom-tariff-07-08.pdf\">Chapters<\/a><\/strong> 84 and 85, as well as specific articles and sections XVI and XVII from Chapter 87. These chapters are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>In section XVI and HS Code Chapters 84 and 85<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT PARTS THEREOF<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SOUND RECORDERS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>REPRODUCERS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TELEVISION IMAGE.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PARTS AND ACCESSORIES.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>In section XVII and HS Code Chapter 87<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Vehicles (CKD).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AIRCRAFT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VESSELS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>RELATED TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you believe this will benefit the car industry?
