Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) plans to introduce the locally assembled Toyota Corolla Cross in 2023. It will be the first Hybrid Electric Vehicle SUV of the company for the local market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Toyota IMC CEO Statement:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/autodeals-blog.wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Toyota-IMC-CEO-Statement-1-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"Toyota IMC CEO Statement\" class=\"wp-image-93733\" width=\"1030\" height=\"553\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>IMC CEO Asghar Jamali made the statement during the company&#8217;s 6th Journalists Summit 2022. We expect to launch our first-ever locally produced HEV SUV in Pakistan in 2023. the Toyota Corolla Cross. Toyota has previously invested $100 million to develop HEVs, continuing the history of the &#8216;Made in Pakistan\u2019 ideology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CEO claimed also said, hybrid technology will not only give a new aspect to localization in Pakistan. But it will also benefit the country with\u00a0forex savings and fuel import bill reduction. He stressed that delivering Electric Vehicles (EVs) to Pakistan is part of the company&#8217;s long-term strategy. The bringing HEVs is a middle-ground solution before EVs because Pakistan lacks the basic infrastructure ready for all-electric vehicles. Crolla Cross will have four driving modes such as Power, Normal, Eco, and EV. The upcoming hybrid vehicle is loaded with innovative features including LED projector headlamps, rear lamps, dual-zone auto with air conditioning system, and a multi-information display. It will also have a 7-inch touch screen, electronic power steering, airbags Anti-Lock Braking System, Hill Start Assist, vehicle stability control, Rear and Front parking sensors &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Price Tag of Toyota Crolla Cross:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/autodeals-blog.wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Price-Tag-of-Toyota-Crolla-Cross-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"Price Tag of Toyota Crolla Cross\" class=\"wp-image-93728\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The CEO added that the locally produced Toyota Corolla Cross will cost between Rs 5 million and Rs 7 million.
