Indus Motor Company by Toyota<\/a> Japan is planning to launch a Corolla Crossover SUV in Pakistan. Earlier this year Toyota has launched this vehicle in the Thailand auto market. After the launch in Thailand, there was a rumor about the launch in Pakistan.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hit trend of SUVs<\/a> and Crossovers at the international market also affects the Pakistan local market. The sale of SUVs shows a positive response meanwhile sedans sale response is negative. In the past the trend of sedans high just because of its styling and small design but now the trend of big vehicles and high ground riding is a crush. The market of SUVs<\/a> shows the highest response as compared to the sedans. As we have seen how KIA Sportage and Hyundai Tucson gain the consumer even after the increase in its prices. Its launch shall be a great positive response for the company. The company has confirmed that they will offer a CBU (Completely Built Unit) of crossover from Thailand. The shape and design of the Thailand model are just luxurious and alluring. The high chances of this upcoming model will compete in the market of KIA Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. By the information of the international model, the vehicle can easily hit its competitor’s market but maybe it takes time to fit in the market if it came with a high price tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the Thailand model offers all the traditional features of the company. It gets a TNGA-C platform that is made for both class FWD and AWD<\/a> vehicles. The company has used the same platform in the 12th generation corolla<\/a> and in CH-R. There are two engine options available standard variant FWD is 1.8L 2ZR-FBE that can produce 140hp and 175Nmof torque with the CVT transmission. While the other variant is Hybrid that is also paired with a 1.8L 2ZR-FXE engine which can make 98hp and 142Nm of torque. The electric motor is paired with 72hp and 163Nm of torque and its work conjunction with a gasoline engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
