Ministry of Industries and production give the greenfield status to Al-Haj to assemble proton cars in Pakistan under the Automotive Development Policy 2016-20.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Haj starts establishing its first plant in Karachi and this is the first CKD plant in Pakistan. Al-Haj distributes its vehicle all over Pakistan and the company has the plan to start operation before the end of 2020. This first plant sits on a 55 acre and the initial investment for this project is $30 million.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-69135 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/proton-cars-2.jpg\" alt=\"proton cars \" width=\"1300\" height=\"697\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>According to the details, the company has set its target to produce 25000 units annually. This new project also provides job and help to reduce unemployment in the country. Al-Haj has the plan to introduce the first proton car in Pakistan with a 1.3 Liter sedan. The company has also plan for offering Proton Saga CBU version.
