However the new car brought new sort of troubles with it. And we are not talking about any sort of mechanical problems.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6277\" src=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ks-300x146.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"389\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The process of booking a new car is already kind of puzzling and time-consuming. Also, the dealerships try their best to detract the consumers in case of long waiting times. Lately, it was reported that some Toyota dealerships have started to force the new Corolla buyers to buy Toyota\u2019s supplementary extended warranty stating that it is part of the package and the new car will not be booked without paying PKR9500 extra. Even though the extended warranty package has its benefits and gives you a piece of mind that your car is covered for three years or 75,000 kilometers (whichever comes first).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6264\" src=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/toyota-corolla-extended-warranty-and-periodic-maintenance-2-300x149.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"399\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Many consumers reported this to not only to Toyota Indus Motors, but some also took the initiative and contacted the Competition Commission of Pakistan regarding this forceful purchase.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6263\" src=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/toyota-corolla-extended-warranty-and-periodic-maintenance-1-300x92.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"245\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And now Toyota Indus Motors has made it clear that it is in no way their policy. The dealers were in fact forcing these elective features as obligatory to new buyers on their own accord. Toyota featured the above-posted image on its website stating that both extended warranty and prepaid maintenance are optional packages. But it has to be said that Toyota Pakistan has not visibly mentioned that its dealers were bullying its buyers into buying these additional packages.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6276\" src=\"https:\/\/autodeals.pk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/jjj-300x142.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"379\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The periodic maintenance package costs extra Rs38000.
