Plenty of space to spread out, too \u2013 front and back \u2013 and that\u2019s head, leg and elbowroom for five adults.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n It\u2019s silent, too. Well insulated from the noises of the peak-hour shuffle. Even the engine noise is passive, except its revving beyond 5000rpm; then you\u2019ll hear a rather horrible mechanical racket.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Storage space around the cabin is abundant with heaps of spots for phones, wallets and water bottles. Connector ports up front include two 12V sockets, 3.5-inch auxiliary jack, but oddly enough, only one USB port up front, and none that I could find for second-row passengers. There\u2019s a bit more space in the glovebox, as well as being both illuminated and cooled.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Boot space, is not only huge, but it also offers a wide aperture and a great load-in height \u2013 creating \u00a0it easy to glide in even heavy boxes and goods.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There\u2019s a full-size additional wheel beneath the floor along with a combination of small storage boxes for hiding valuables. There\u2019s a cargo net provided, too, along with four tie-down hooks \u2013 a must for keeping all your groceries bags together.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n There is a never-ending list of features and creature comforts including a new satellite navigation head unit that now allows Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with hands-free messaging and dictation,<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Front and rear parking sensors with rear-view camera and guidelines, heated and cooled electrically-operated front seats, and panoramic glass sunroof.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n It also borrows all the good stuff from the well-equipped Elite variant, counting LED headlights, auto-dimming mirror, and proximity key with push-button start, power tailgate, puddle lights and electronic park brake to name a few more.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n There\u2019s a lot to like about the Hyundai Tucson, mainly in this top-shelf guise. It still seems great from approximately any angle, drives well and comes with more kit (as well as the latest safety systems) than you could ever want.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n But we\u2019re not persuaded enough that the Highlander trim offers the best bang for buck in the Tucson range. We\u2019d propose the Elite does a better job of that, at the same time as saving just over six grand.
