A joint venture among Isuzu and Jiangling Motors, Jiangxi Isuzu Motors, has commenced the updated MU-X in China.It is priced between 178,800 yuan\u00a0(PKR 30.03 lac)<\/em>\u00a0and 268,800 yuan\u00a0(PKR 45.15 lac).<\/em>The MU-X facelift has a number of revisions counting new\u00a0front and rear bumpers, 18-inch wheels, redesigned chrome-embedded fog lamp\u00a0enclosures\u00a0plus a new grille design.<\/p>\n

LED headlamps are now having the DRLs and LED light guides composed in a redesigned housing. The rear taillight\u00a0groups\u00a0keep hold of their shape, however they now come with new graphics and LED guides within them too. A great innovation is that the \u2018Isuzu\u2019 projectors are positioned under the\u00a0front doors\u00a0panels.<\/p>\n

The China-spec MU-X has an entirely new dashboard that has a tablet-like infotainment system prominently. The 8-inch touchscreen unit comes with Apple CarPlay and Baidu\u2019s CarLife connectivity support along with a host of usual media functions.<\/p>\n

For the\u00a0climate control\u00a0system ,there is new switchgear, plus the redesigned gear selector, new control dial for the Terrain Command 4WD System, and a new steering wheel design. These elements, together with the\u00a0faux\u00a0wood dash trim, ambient lighting and Yamaha sound system, lend a hand in providing the MU-X with a finer looking interior.<\/p>\n

In China, 2 turbo-diesel engines are being presented with the MU-X, harmonized with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission and 2 or\u00a04 wheel\u00a0drive\u00a0configurations. The new 150 PS\/340 Nm RZ4E-TC 1.9 liter Ddi Blue Power\u00a0engine, has substituted the 4JK1-TCX 2.5 liter unit in China. The 4JJ1-TCX 3.0 liter powerplant, which produces 177 PS and an inspiring 430 Nm of torque is also\u00a0accessible.<\/p>\n

The MU-X is a three-row seven-seat version of the D-MAX pickup, that Ghandhara Industries Limited (GIL) is in the course of launching in Pakistan almost certainly by April 2018.
