A\u00a0 Chinese delegation manufacturers and\u00a0assemblers\u00a0of automobiles counting heavy-duty trucks, engines, auto parts and tires have also shown quite a lot of interest in setting up vehicle manufacturing plants in Pakistan. The\u00a0delegation, consisting of representatives of about 500 auto companies that articulated the objective for investment through a visit to the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI).<\/p>\n

Delegation\u00a0members that consisted of notable companies counting Jinan Zhongzhan International Trade, Jinan Bonaite Trading Company, Hebei Xinjiu\u00a0Heavy Duty\u00a0MachineryMakes Company, Sinotruck and Shanghai Cheezmail E-Commerce Company, persisted that they were producing vehicles in line with\u00a0European Union\u00a0standards and were eager to survey\u00a0business opportunities\u00a0for vehicle, engine and auto-part manufacturing in Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The members said that firstly they are concerned in finding local partners for supply of automobiles and auto parts in Pakistan and on\u00a0booming\u00a0operation of business they would try to set up auto manufacturing plants and bonded warehouses via joint ventures and investment in Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0delegation\u00a0members uttered they also sought after to share their technical knowledge and proficiency with Pakistani manpower in this field. It was resoluted that the ICCI would organize a seminar to create awareness in the local\u00a0business community\u00a0about auto products and prospects of business\u00a0collaborations\u00a0with Chinese counterparts.
