The 2019\u00a0Honda Insight\u00a0Hybrid is going to be unveiled at NAIAS 2018 next month. The innovative concept will grow into Honda\u2019s all-new hybrid sedan .The\u00a0Honda Insight\u00a0Prototype\u2019s design seems like a complete blend of the tenth-gen\u00a0Honda Civic and the tenth-gen\u00a0Honda Accord. The gracefully designed front-end is quite analogous to that of the Accord, whereas the profile bears a distinctive resemblance to the Civic. At the rear, the Insight Prototype has a clean and minimalistic design, wrap around tail lamps with\u00a0LED lighting, chrome bumper adorns , and a subtle decklid spoiler.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Honda Insight\u00a0Prototype has a black interior scheme with sway of\u00a0Honda Civic\u00a0and\u00a0Honda Accord\u00a0evidently visible. The\u00a0center console\u00a0is rather similar to that of the former, whereas the\u00a0instrument panel\u00a0and steering wheel\u00a0imitates\u00a0those of the former. Features like color driver information display, electric parking brake, engine start-stop button and a display for the\u00a0infotainment\u00a0system featuring navigation and Apple CarPlay are noticeable in the interior images.<\/p>\n

Honda asters that the 2019\u00a0Honda Insight\u00a0will use Honda\u2019s two-motor full-hybrid powertrain. The company has not disclosed the powertrain\u2019s details just yet, however. Production of the third-gen\u00a0Honda Insight\u00a0will start at Honda\u2019s Greensburg,\u00a0Indiana\u00a0plant in the USA. Honda will likely reveal new Insight to contend with Toyota Prius and Hyundai Ioniq hybrid in the U.S. market in summer next year.<\/p>\n
