Pakistan Suzuki Motors has passed the burden to customers with an initiative price hike. This is the first price hike of 2024 for Suzuki Swift. Previously, the company has introduced multiple promotions for its different car models.<\/p>\n
Suzuki is the first company in Pakistan to increase its car prices after the government announcement regarding GST. Meanwhile, Kia and Peugeot 2008 reduced prices, bringing excitement for purchasing crossovers in the market.<\/p>\n
It’s observed that the implementation of the new GST has effects and Suzuki forced to increase the rate to meet the cost of vehicles.<\/p>\n
Pakistan Suzuki has increased the price of Swift GLX CVT by Rs. 304,000 and the new price set at Rs. 5,429,000 against the old rate of Rs. 5,125,000.<\/p>\n
Its pertinent to mention here that the Suzuki has only increased the price of one variant. The rest of the variants are available at the same old rate.<\/p>\n
The cars with engine capacity of 1400cc or above are already paying 25% GST. However, the new implantation of GST will mark new effects and count more cars under the GST tree. GST changes made significant impacts on car prices. It is considered that car sales are affected by different taxes which include GST.<\/p>\n
There is no confirmation regarding the rest of car models valued above Rs. 40 lacs. Meanwhile, new GST implementation will affect several cars but the prices will be confirm after the official announcement of car companies. In Pakistan, car prices depend on the automaker’s decision as well. However, the taxes affect also.
