Here is the latest piece of news that the petrol prices are not increased in Pakistan. The prices of petroleum products in Pakistan still remain unchanged for March and April 2022 and the current price of petrol in the country is at RS. 149.86 liter.
Reason Petrol Prices are not Increased:
In Pakistan, the prices of diesel and petrol are not increased. The reason behind the petroleum products price remains constant is the current uncertain conditions in Pakistan. There is no prime minister of Pakistan yet.
One of the reasons for petrol prices have not increased in Pakistan is that the prices of petrol have come down in International Market.
Finance Division Statement:

According to the statement released by the Finance Division, The previous prime minister Imran Khan’s remarks in the fortnightly review on February 28. The prices of petroleum products will remain constant till the next budget.
The statement said that the government had decided to freeze the prices of fuel prices in Pakistan till the next budget instead of an unexpected price increase in the worldwide market. The government will incur an additional burden of Rs 30 billion to relieve the domestic customers.
