Honda Motor Company unveiled the new Honda BR-V of the second generation in Indonesia in September 2021. A little over a year later, now introduced a Petrol engine in Thailand last month. The 7-seater crossover comes in two variants which are E, and EL. Let’s discuss the specifications of the vehicles.
What’s New In Honda BR-V Design?
In terms of design and core features, the all-new BR-V is significantly more advanced than the outgoing model. the cabin is most decent and specious has a 4.2-inch multi-info instrument cluster display, two-tone (Black and Mocha Grey) combination leather upholstery, automatic air-conditioning. It also has a 7th -inch Display Audio touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a multi-function leather steering wheel, and four speakers.

Honda BR-V packs many safety and security features, several security features are Immobilizer, Central Locking, Anti-Theft Alarm, Power Door Locks, and Anti-Theft Device. Also, other safety features include Engine Check Warning, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, Driver Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Child Safety Locks, Anti-Lock Braking System, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist, Rear Seat Belts, Seat Belt Warning, Day and Night Rear View Mirror, Rear Camera, and Door Open Warning.
Dimensions and Capacity:
The overall measure of the BR-V includes 4456 mm in length, 1735 mm in width, and 1666 mm in height respectively. Furthermore, the 7-seater crossover vehicle has a wheelbase of 2655 mm, a ground clearance of 201 mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 48 L.
New Honda BR-V Performance and Specification:

The Thai-spec BR-V uses a 1.5L naturally-aspirated DOHC i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol engine that produces power of 120 hp and 145 Nm of torque with front-wheel drive via a CVT gearbox as standard in both variants. Moreover, The test results indicate that it takes the new BR-V an average of 11.75 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h.
Fuel Economy and Top Speed:
Honda Thailand claims the new BR-V’s top speed on the gauge is 168 km/h and a fuel economy rating is between 13.33 to 18.86 km/L is the most efficient in its class.
Thai-spec BR-V Price:
The two variants’ prices offered in Thailand are as follows. The top-spec EL version of the new Honda BR-V costs THB 973,000 and the E variant price starts from THB 915,000.
