Premier Motors Limited (PML) is building a factory in Hub, Baluchistan, to construct Volkswagen (VW) and Skoda automobiles locally. Two manufacturers are planning to join Pakistan’s unstable automobile market.

Dr. Rüdiger Lotz, the German Consul General, made a trip to the under-construction manufacturing factory.
He mentioned that PML and VW Group will build premium Skoda and VW vehicles in Pakistan for the first time. Despite the fact that Skoda Auto is headquartered in the Czech Republic, Volkswagen owns and operates the company.
The factory, according to the specs, would be finished by 2024 and will have a capacity of 32,000 units per year.
German Counsel further stated that Pakistan requires foreign investments at this volatile time. They will not only raise money but will also create employment and enhance exports, enhancing overall economic activity.
