The Driver and Vehicle Licencing Agency (DVLA) sent a letter to Mr Nawaz Sharif’s home at Avonfield House registering the car claimed to be in his name, which is when Mr. Sharif first learned of the illegally registered vehicles in his name. The specifics were written down.
This caused an inquiry when Mr. Sharif’s office informed the DVLA of the behavior in March.
Khurram Butt PML-N Spokesman Statement
A second instance happened last month, when a different vehicle was registered in the former prime minister’s name, according to Khurram Butt, a PML-N official stationed in London.
When a traffic fine was issued, a third car registered in his name was found, which Mr. Butt described as “uncovering an unlawful attempt by some individuals to misuse the name and reputation of the PML-N leader for criminal purposes.”
To find out who is responsible for registering these cars illegally. London officials are investigating the inquiry and following up on all leads.
The DVLA asked Mr. Nawaz Sharif to pursue the case with the police. As it revealed a false claim made in his name despite removing his name from the car registrations.
The spokesman claimed he believed Nawaz Sharif’s name was being used on purpose for criminal acts. That Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf members were responsible.
