The Auto Policy 2016-21 has welcomed all new auto manufacturers to produce cars and get benefits. The last year was not good for the automakers. They survive in many crises. In the year 2020, they have the plan to introduce some more advance and latest models. They think that new entrants will attract customers.
The international automakers enter the Pakistan local market with long term plans. 2019 was good in this regard. The new automakers build their production plants in Pakistan to manufacture locally assemble vehicles. Here is the list of SUVs, MPVs, and Crossovers that are launch in 2020.
Proton X70:
Proton X70 is an Malaysian auto maker’s product. The SUV was first unveiled in 2018 at Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS). Proton X70 is made with the latest style and advance features. The company has offer SUV in Front Wheel Drive variant and All Wheel Drive variant. The design of SUV is created by the two companies Proton and Geely. The vehicle is equipped with 1.8L TGDi engine power in premium and executive trim. The SUV will launch in Pakistan this year.
BAIC Senova X25:
BAIC has entered in the Pakistan local auto market with high investment and modern design vehicles. The company has the plan to launch its Senova X25 in Pakistan this year. They have also plan to introduce some other vehicles in this year. BAIC is a Chinese auto maker’s brand. They introduce X25 SUV with 1.5L engine transmission. The SUV will be available in Pakistan in two variants manual transmission and automatic transmission.
Changan CX70T:
Master Motors has designed the 7 seaters SUV to boost the Pakistan local auto market. Changan CX70T is a master motors production. The SUV has completed the road-testing process. It means the company has wait for the right time of launching. The vehicle has enough space for luggage. Here is also a big space for front legroom and rear seat leg room. The vehicle is paired with 1.5L engine power. The design and shape of the vehicle are made with the latest style and design.
Ghandhara Nissan JAC T6:
Ghandhara Nissan has made power full 2.0L engine power truck for Pakistan’s local auto market. JAC T6 is a 6-speed manual transmission truck. The vehicle is only available in manual transmission. The vehicle will be launch in Pakistan this year. The Truck is already available in the global auto market. It’s made with advanced features in which power windows, power doors, rear camera, infotainment system and many others are included.
Hyundai Tuscon:
Hyundai has come to produce locally assemble vehicles in Pakistan with the collaboration of Nishat Group. The company has a plan to introduce Tuscon with 2.0L engine power in Pakistan. Tucson is the best SUV production of the Hyundai Nishat Group. The SUV has come with both option manual and automatic transmission. The design and features are elegant. The company has already display Tuson at PAPS auto show and receive huge response from customers.
Proton Exora:
Proton has also plan to launch its MPV Exora in Pakistan this year. Proton Exora is like a Honda BR-V 7 seater vehicle. The MPV is a front-wheel drive. The company has not confirmed the engine power. It is expected that Exora will come with 1.6L CamPro CPS DOHC I4 and 1.6L CamPro CFE I4 turbo-charge engine power.
