Additionally, it’s the first country where the 2023 Vios will be sold in left-hand drives and the first market where it uses the Vios name. When Toyota Vios is compared to the Thai spec, the only design difference is the inside, which is reversed. While both the Thai and Lao versions of the Vios come with 16-inch alloy wheels and 195/60 R16 tires. Although the Vios in Laos has a different alloy wheel design with straight spokes instead of slanted spokes.
Major Changes Happened Under Tee Hood:
The major change happened under the hood, unlike in Thailand where the Yaris Ativ uses a 1.2L engine 3NR-VE Dual VVT-iE engine with 94 hp/110 Nm and a Super CVT-i gearbox. The Lao’s Vios is powered by a 1.3L, 1NR-VE four-cylinder engine that produces 98 horsepower and 122 Nm of torque. It is available with either a CVT or a 5-speed manual transmission.
