Day by day the hype of everything electric is getting on the rise and seeing that ,the company like Tesla is launching some epic electric vehicles. Be it cars or semi trucks, we also have conventional carmakers that have started to take electric and plug-in hybrid technologies quite seriously. Automobile makers all over the world have begun to follow the goal of making long-range electric vehicles.

Premium German car manufacturer BMW proclaimed that it has sold as many as 100,000 electric vehicles worldwide. Last year, BMW sold 62,255 electric cars globally. Cars like BMW i3 and the 2-series plug-in hybrid Active Tourer have lent a hand to BMW in achieving the goal. BMW is intending to have 12 fully electric models by 2025.

Volkswagen ,On the other hand, another German carmaker, is setting up to install 2,800 electric vehicle charging stations in 17 of the most vital U.S. cities by June 2019. VW says the charging stations will be positioned at roughly 500 sites targeting mostly workplaces and some residential areas. The German carmaker is willing to spend an amount of $2 billion for this plan. This indicates that how dedicated companies are to the electric cause.

And now Toyota, the pioneer in hybrid car technology, has announced that it wants to commence more than ten electric vehicles by 2020. This is a noteworthy piece of news bearing in mind that Toyota does not offer any electric vehicle presently at all.

Not only does Toyota want to launch electric vehicles, but also want to initiate electric versions of all of its Toyota and Lexus cars.
