The SUV as we recognize it has been in existence for a decade, so it’s about time it gets updated. The new Land Cruiser will continue to be body-on-frame, making it one of the few remaining “real” SUVs today.The Japanese automaker will also show off the C-HR Hy-Power Concept that is a design study designed by the company’s European Design Center. Along with a teaser image of the crossover’s front end, Toyota said the concept will “emphasize C-HR’s emotional and powerful look while hinting at future expansion of Toyota’s hybrid powertrain lineup within its core models.”

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is unquestionably one of the most loved SUVs in Pakistan. It has taken into custody the hearts of Pakistani SUV fans for more than a couple of decades. It not only provides sufficient off roading capabilities but also well-mannered passenger comfort in a price far less than the bigger Toyota Land Cruiser.

And at this moment there is some good news for Prado fans. It appears Toyota is planning a facelift for its popular Prado SUV. And the verification is in the spy shots taken in Germany prior to the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show. Earlier, photos of Toyota Prado SUVs ready to be shipped in Japan were floating on the internet. The current photos mean that Toyota will be debuting the similar Toyota Prado 2018 in European as well as Asian market. And since it’s assembled in Japan, it won’t be a surprise if you see one soon in Pakistan.

For the new Prado facelift, Toyota has not only updated the exterior, but also the interior of the car. On the outside, the 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado features an expansively redesigned front. Its interior isn’t completely renovated, but there are some distinguishable changes from the current model.

- The new four-spoke steering wheel, which has a more modern design, is very similar to that of the Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Crown.
- The central air conditioning vents too look changed.
- The infotainment system is a new one, and the climate control system’s knobs are relocated.
- The fourth-gen Prado will be given a chief safety upgrade with the second facelift.
- Toyota will equip it with the Toyota Safety Sense Psuite of advanced safety features which including Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection function,
- Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist function,
- Automatic High Beams
- Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is accessible with a wide range of engine options globally, including 2TR-FE 2.7-litre four-cylinder petrol, 7GR-FKS 3.5-litre V6 petrol and 1GR-FE 4.0-litre V6 petrol, 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel, 1KD-FTV 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel and 5L-E 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel. It’s unknown if Toyota plans to make any modifications to these engines.
