The launching of the Toyota Yaris in Pakistan is postponing because of the lockdown in the country. Previously Toyota has decided to officially launch Yaris on 27th March 2020 but now it is not possible in the current situation of Pakistan. The government of Pakistan has passed the orders to ban all types of gathering events in Pakistan because of the spread of coronavirus. The virus is spread from humans to humans very fast and for the protection of people that are very important to ban all these types of activities.
Under the current situation of lockdown, Indus Motor Company has closed its production according to the government orders. All the dealership stores of Toyota are also closed until the government orders. All of these steps are just to save the people from the virus and save their lives. Previously Toyota has started the booking of Yaris but after the notice of lockdown, the booking of Yaris is closed.
This is a very tough time for the auto manufacturers in Pakistan because they already suffer in loss and the complete shutdown of production affects their revenue. The government has scheduled the lockdown till 6th April 2020 to control the COVID-19 in Pakistan. Although the lockdown decision is for our safety purpose so keep follow the orders and save lives. All of these are the impact on the economical circle but the time is to save lives and fight with the virus.
