Pakistan Post showing very disappointing behavior by losing thousands of vehicle documents. Recently news come to us through a reliable source that Pakistan Post failed to offer car documents as per the orders.
The department provides the car registration of customers according to the orders and restricts saving documents to make smooth and reliable delivery. But it seems the negligence has been shown by the department which is a huge loss of customers. The reason for the hurdle in deliveries of smart registration cards and computerized number plates.
Details Of Missing Registration Cards
According to the report, Provincial Excise and Taxation department handed over 108,000 registration cards, 128,000 number plates, and 12,000 original files to Pakistan Post for distribution to vehicles owner according to the details. But it has not happened in the same way and Pakistan Post has misplaced some car registration.
Last year February 2022, Punjab Excise Department made a contract with Pakistan Post to deliver car registrations, computerized number plates, and vehicle papers to owners. According to the agreement the Excise department gave Pakistan Post 1.085 million smart cards which 946,000 were delivered, 30,000 returned due to the wrong owner’s address, and 108,000 are missing.
Moreover, the excise department mailed 1.459 million computerized number plates whereas 1.271 million were delivered, 60,000 has returned, and the rest of the 128,000 are lost.
Furthermore, the Excise department handed over 280,000 original vehicle files to the government-owned mailing company, which of 12,771 missing, 191,000 were delivered, and 3,800 are returned.
The action against the negligence has taken by the caretaker of Excise Minister Punjab, Bilal Afzal, and Muhammad Ali a Director of General Excise. Whoever the responsible for this fault had to pay the charge for the loss of vehicle owners.
Conclusion
This is not an ignorable thing because vehicle owners had paid a huge amount for car registration. The misplaced vehicle registration cards, number plates, and especially original documents of vehicle owners cause of troubling in car sales. And cut the huge number of sales.
