Indian multinational automotive manufacturing company, Tata Motors has extended its electric vehicle lineup by launching Tata Tiago in the Indian market. Tata Tiago is the company’s third domestically produced electric vehicle that is available in a reasonably priced range.

The Tiago EV has a hollowed-out grille with a recognizable tri-arrow pattern, projector headlamps, electric blue highlights, and a modified alloy wheel design that differentiates it from its ICE rivals.
when it comes to the interior, it is a roomy cabin with soft tech material and innovative features with a digital instrument cluster painted in electric blue. In terms of comfort, the electric hatchback also gets a multi-function steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control standard, 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, cruise control, 4 regenerative braking modes, multi-drive modes, a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Tata Tiago EV Powertrain and Performance:
Under the hood, the all-electric vehicle Tiago comes with Tata’s Ziptron technology designed for Indian driving and weather conditions. It has powered by two battery options. First, 19.2kWh with a claimed driving range of 250km, and second, 24kWh with a range of 315km.
Charging Time and Range:
The all-new electric hatchback also enables home charging at 3.3kW and 7.2kW, which can charge the battery for 35km in 30 minutes while it takes 3.5 hours for full charging. The vehicle also includes a DC Fast charging option, which can complete a charge of 80% in around 57 minutes.
Price of Tata Tiago EV in India:
Tata Tiago, a subcompact all-electric hatchback available at a starting price of INR 8.49 lac and is said to be one of the most affordable EVs in India. The company provides the vehicle in four different variations. Booking will start on October 10th, and deliveries will commence in January 2023.
