Suzuki has unveiled the new XBEE (cross-bee) in Japan today. XBEE is a compact crossover wagon fused with roomy cabin of a wagon and the enjoyment of an SUV.The new XBEE (cross-bee) has roomy cabin and user-friendliness of a wagon, characteristic and lovable design with a muscular driving performance on rough roads for instance on snow, and practicality of an SUV. It is a packed together crossover wagon of an entire new genre that meets wide range of lifestyles from city riding to leisure activities for example outdoors and sports.

The all-new XBEE has the Suzuki Safety Support, Suzuki’s defensive safety technology which supports safe and sound driving and self-assuredly. It comes equipped with
- Dual Sensor Brake Support (DSBS)
- Collision-mitigating system
- The Back-up Brake Support collision-mitigating system for backing-up, which is integrated for the first timeon Suzuki’s compact car.

In addition it is installed with functions that maintain safety driving counting a 3D View that lets the driver see the vehicle’s 360-degreee surroundings in three-dimensional view. It has a light and rigid new-generation platform “HEARTECT”, and all variants are integrated with 1.0L direct-injection turbo engine and mild hybrid system joint with six-speed automatic transmission, for better driving performance with profusion of power and excellent fuel efficiency.

The 4WD variant is equipped with two new driving modes: powerful Sport mode and Snow mode that represses spinning of tires in starting and accelerating on snow and icy roads. The 4WD variant also comes equipped with standard equipment of two more driving functions. It also features Grip Control that supports starting on muddy and slippery roads and a Hill Descent Control that keeps the vehicle speed at 7km/h as descending on steep downhill.
Suzuki is yet to proclaim the launch of XBEE in other markets.
