The largest and formerly known carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has added yet another model to its CNG line-up. The company has announced the launch of the CNG version of the Suzuki S-Presso in the country. The 10th model in Maruti’s lineup to offered with a CNG option. This time, the all-new 2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso CNG has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 5.90 lakh. The CNG version of the high-riding hatchback costs Rs 95,000 more than the equivalent petrol-powered S Presso.

Commenting on the launch of the S-Presso CNG, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki said, The S-Presso’s SUV-inspired design has ensured that S-CNG version will build on the success of the popular S-Presso, which We have sold more than 2.26 lakh units. The S-CNG is delight customers with its CNG’s fuel efficiency and powerful performance. We currently offer 10 S-CNG models in our portfolio which are designed to reduce ownership costs and strengthen our commitment to a clean and green environment.
Specification and Performance of S-Presso CNG:
When it comes to the specification of S-Presso CNG, it uses the same 1.0L Dual Jet, Dual VVT petrol engine that generates 56hp of the powerhouse and 82 Nm of peak torque. For the S-Presso S-CNG, Maruti claims a fuel efficiency of 32.73 kilometers per liter. The automaker claims that it has modified the suspension arrangement to enhance the ride quality and comfort of the hatchback due to the additional weight of the CNG tank.
Maruti Suzuki S Presso CNG Design and Features:
With the exception of an additional S-CNG logo on the tailgate, the S Presso CNG has not undergone any significant changes in exterior or interior design. Moreover, The S Presso CNG comes with numerous standard safety equipment including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and seat belt reminders, and much more.
