A few days ago, all automakers announced to increase their vehicle prices. The reason behind this price increase is the increased shipment costs, increasing prices of raw materials, increase in inflation, and devaluation of the Pakistan rupee against the USD. All automakers whether local or international, are at the edge of increasing the prices of their products.
They said that the raw material is getting more expensive with each passing day and this is affecting the costs of manufacturing. They also added that prices of all raw materials including steel, aluminum, and copper are increasing all over the world. They also said that the devaluation of money is also putting pressure on Original Equipment Manufacturers. Auto manufacturers are bearing immense pressure on manufacturing costs. They also gave some numbers regarding the prices of raw materials. Steel has been increased by 215% since March 2020. The price of Aluminum is gone over 3,000 USD/ tonne. The price was increased by over 10,000 USD in October 2021.
All three main auto manufacturers along with Kia have increased their prices.

Price of Toyota Corolla in Pakistan
Toyota has increased the prices of all its variants in Pakistan. The price of Toyota Corolla Grande X 1.8 beige has a new price of PKR 4,079,000 from PKR 3,869,000 with an increase of PKR 210,000. The price with black interior is PKR 4,099,000 now. It was previously PKR 3,889,000 and got an increase of PKR 210,000.
The price of Toyota Corolla Altis X SE A/T got a price hike of PKR 200,000 and from the previous price of PKR 3,599,000, it is moved to PKR 3,799,000.
The new price of Toyota Corolla X A/T is PKR 3,449,000 and the old price was PKR 3,249,000. It means that it got a price increase of PKR 200,000. The Toyota Corolla X Manual 1.6 got a price increase of PKR 190,000. The old price was PKR 3,109,000 and the new price is PKR 3,299,000.
Price of Toyota Yaris in Pakistan
The Toyota Yaris got a price hike of PKR 180,000 and the new price of Yaris ATIV CVT 1.3 id PKR 2,849,000. The new price of Toyota Yaris ATIV M/T is PKR 2,679,000 with an increase of PKR 160,000.
The price of Toyota Yaris ATIV X CVT 1.5 is PKR 3,099,000 with an increase of PKR 200,000. The new price of Toyota Yaris ATIV M/T 1.5 is PKR 2,899,000 after an increase of PKR 180,000.
The new Price of Toyota Yaris Gli CVT 1.3 ad Toyota Yaris Gli M/T 1.3 is PKR 2,749,000 and PKR 2,549,000 respectively.

The old price of Toyota Fortuner 2.7G was PKR 7,649,000 it got a big increase of PKR 500,000 which takes the new price of Toyota Fortuner 2.7G to PKR 8,149,000.
The new price of Toyota Fortuner 2.7V is PKR 9,399,000 and it got a hike of PKR 500,000 and the old price was PKR 8,899,000.
The top-of-the-line model Fortuner 2.8Sigma 4 had a price of PKR 9,269,000 and It got a price hike of PKR 580,000 and now its new price is PKR 9,849,000.
