Here is the latest piece of news about the Porsche EV charging station. Porsche is a well-known German Luxury and sports car-making company. With the doubling of Taycan’s delivery in 2021, Porsche is trying to prepare further its power strategies by introducing more EVs into its product lineup. As per a confirmed report, Porsche will start building out its own global network of EV charging stations next year. The carmaker declared that to meet this goal, it is investing in its own charging infrastructure as well as collaborating with other partners on premium charging stations.

Porsche SEO Statement:

In its annual report, Porsche SEO, Oliver Bloom stated that up to 80% of sales of the company will be EVs till 2030. He also confirmed that they will build their own EV charging infrastructure in partnership with third-party charging networks. Porsche branded charging stations will build next year in high demanded areas such as Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. The charging stations will also have lounge facilities where customers can take a sip of tea or work, while the batteries charged.

Oliver Bloom said:

According to Bloom, Porsche will focus on the European market and consider expanding to China and United States, where we offer particular services and support charging infrastructure. The company will continue to support the partnership of Ionity which is a multi-automaker venture supporting a European fast-charging network. They emphasize the benefits of the Electrify America network of 670 charging stations in 46 states.

In addition to the charging station, Porsche has declared the founding of the first cell force group. The newly formed company is responsible for designing and manufacturing high-performance automaker’s battery cells. The production of this group will begin in 2024 with an initial capacity of at least 100 MW per year.
