According to the media, it has reported that the pedestrians in Lahore who will not be using zebra crossing will have to pay fine as a result. But until now the news is not yet confirmed as the authorities have not decided on taking any action towards the pedestrians.

It is all the more a known fact that in almost all the countries a law has been maintained as for pedestrians to avoid any problem and to ensure public safety hence. In Pakistan, it has also been undergoing to observed that the walkers do not somehow follow the traffic rules as which causes significant problems for the side of the people who are traveling through vehicles.

In this law, the fine will be charged on the people who do not use zebra crossing to cross the road and also cross the street from whichever point of the way they want that can turn out to be one of the primary sources of traffic accidents in the country.

It is to mention that the Punjab Safe Cities Authorities is in the process of undergoing with the making rules to encourage people to use upon with the zebra crossing in Lahore. With the help of using the CCTV cameras, the authority hence will be keeping on with the eye on the pedestrians, and if someone violates the law, they will be straight charged with the fine. The details about how the charge ticket will be sent to the pedestrian have not unveiled yet.
