The stakeholders of EV policy included the Ministry of Climate Change (MoCC) Engineering Development Board (EDB) and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Electric Vehicle policy discussion starts from the last and the Ministry of Climate Change has proposed EV policy and it was approved by cabinet but rejected by MoIP, EDB, and other stakeholders. Stakeholders and other entities of EV policy conduct a series of meetings to discuss a goof EV policy for Pakistan. The implementation of EV policy in Pakistan is very important because we are already far behind the global electric vehicle production.
