Electric vehicles are ecofriendly vehicles and didn’t produce carbon emissions. To start the production of EV in Pakistan is very important to control the import of oil and make our environment eco-friendly.

Relief for EV in FY Budget 2020:

The government has also provided relief for EV in which two-wheeler and three-wheeler EV can be imported at 50% of the current tariff of custom duty. Heavy commercial EV buses can be imported on 1% of the current tariff custom duty. The newly announced incentives for EV will be applicable for the next five years and starting from 1st July 2020.
