Today we are sharing with you the good news, in view of the decrease in oil prices in the international markets, the government has decreased the price of petrol. According to the media notification, the Pakistani Govt reduced petrol Prices by Rs 18 in order to provide relief to the people.
Pakistan Government Statement:
While addressing the nation, prime minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the Petrol price has reduced by Rs 18.50 per liter and diesel by Rs 40.54 per liter. He gave an explanation of the government had raised fuel prices to meet the demands made by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which were approved by the previous government. He added that now the government has decided to give relief to the people due to low prices in the international market.
New Petrol Prices:
According to the government statement, the price of petrol has decreased by Rs 18.50, and the cost of diesel has decreased by Rs 40.54. Additionally, the rate of kerosene oil is reduced by Rs. 33.81, while the price of light diesel oil (LDO) is reduced by Rs. 34.71.
After the latest reduction in the prices of petroleum products, the new price of petrol is Rs 230.24 as opposed to Rs 248.74, while the price of diesel has decreased to Rs. 236 from Rs. 276.54. Meanwhile, the price of kerosene oil has been reduced to Rs. 196.45 from Rs. 230.26.The new price of Light Diesel Oil is Rs. 191.44 against Rs. 226.15.
