The production of vehicles is going to low in the market because of the decline in demand. Recently Pak Suzuki announced the hiked price of Alto 660cc. The main reason to hike the price is the production of cost is high. This time company hike the prices of its Bikes and post the new Prices of its bikes on 1st August 2019.
- GD110s:Price increase from PKR 163,000 to PKR 166,000.
- GS150: Price increase from PKR 170,000 to PKR 175,000.
- GS150SE:Price increase from PKR 188,000 to PKR 191,000
- GR150:Price increase from PKR 254,000 to PKR 259,000.
According to the details, the price of Gixxer models has remained same company did not change the price of these models the MotoGP edition price is PKR 549,000 and PKR 539,000 for Red and Black edition.
As compared to the other automaker’s sales the sale of Pak Suzuki vehicles sales is stable than other because the company sold the cheaper car as compared to others that’s why company increase the prices.
Chairman Association of Pakistan Motorcycle Assemblers (APMA) Sabir Sheikh said that the hike in prices of cars is not affordable for everyone these high-end bikes are a high concern for them. The high prices of cars moved people to two-wheels.
The hike in prices of cars forced automakers to cut their production because of the sales of cars down in the market. Recently Honda Atlas and Indus Motors company published their report in this they mention to cut the production of vehicles because the cost of products is very high and the high prices are not affordable for everyone and this is why the sales are going to down these two companies provide expensive vehicles in the market as compared to the Pak Suzuki. Pak Suzuki provides a cheaper vehicle that can be easily in range with everyone this is a reason the sales of Pak Suzuki is not declined as compared to these two automakers.
On the other side, the rupee value is down 32% in this financial year against the dollar and the inflation rate increase 7.2% to 10.3% in January 2019 to July 2019. the devaluation of currency value disturbed the inflation rate in the country even the every production sector. Mostly the auto sector highly affected because most of the vehicle parts import from other country and the currency devaluation increases the rates of parts.
