Oil and Gas Regulator Authority has imposed a ban on CNG/LNG vans for using in the purpose of public transport and school vans.
Authorities ask the IG motorway police and province to take strict action against the use of gas cylinder vehicles for public transport. Authorities also pass an order to remove these vehicles for public transport and school vans. OGRA imposed the ban on gas cylinder vehicle on the request of the Punjab Transport Department.
Recently many accidents happened with public transport and school vans because of the gas cylinder, and that’s why authorities take strict action against the use of gas cylinder for public transport and schools vans for the safety of citizens lives.

Authorities recommend the use of fuel as compared to the gas cylinder to ensure that the citizens are safe on the vehicle.
According to the details, the authorities can’t check every public transport vehicle to ensure that it’s not a gas cylinder that’s why provincial has asked OGRA to an imposed permanent ban on the gas cylinder vehicles for the school vans and public transport.
