The worst economic chart has made serious hurdles for the auto manufacturing industry. The ongoing situation caused the major downfall of the auto industry and affect Honda Civic production and sale. The production of vehicles not happening in a smooth way. The non-availability of raw materials caused several plants to shut down.
As per the report, automakers face non-productive days due to the delay in LCs approval by the State Bank of Pakistan. The destruction wrought by the auto industry will take years to overcome the loss.
Toyota Indus Motors, Suzuki, and Honda are the most popular car brands in Pakistan but they are facing huge losses in sales. They are observing several non-productive days in a month and are forced to shut down plants.
No Honda Civic Produce
As per the report, Honda Atlas did not produce a single unit of Civic in the month of March 2023. However, the company has not even sold a single unit of Civic. Honda mentioned the main reason behind this scene is import restriction. Automakers increased car prices due to the devaluation of the rupee and new taxes applied by the government. But the major factor behind no production and no sale is the non-availability of raw materials. Although the high prices affect sales right now the automotive industry is troubled due to different factors.
Not only Honda but several automakers mentioned the same reason behind the loss in sales and plant shutdowns. Due to the low inventory, they are not able to complete production work. Deliveries of vehicles are also delayed.
Conclusion
Honda Civic is top selling sporty style sedan. Despite the high price of the sedan its lovers never stop buying the car. But low inventory has made trouble and last month Honda does not even produce a single unit.
