The photographs have posted on Toyota’s Japanese social media accounts and feature the words “Hybrid Reborn”. If these new teaser images are any indication, it’s time for a major redesign for the Toyota Prius Hybrid. The pictures don’t reveal much detail, but they do suggest that the statement will bring some significant changes.
Next Generation Toyota Prius:
The present Toyota Prius, which is in its fourth generation, has been around since 2015 and completed its lifespan of seven years. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Prius nameplate, Toyota had long planned to release the next version of the vehicle towards the end of 2022. But the launch plans have postponed because of a global supply chain crisis. Now, it appears that the new model will launch soon.
Upcoming Fifth Generation Toyota Prius Design and Specification:
The upcoming car will be the fifth generation Toyota Prius and has a very familiar appearance which helps to recognize the car’s aerodynamic profile. It may include some new details that will make it look much better than the existing Prius. The headlights in a teaser image look similar to the design language we’ve seen on some Toyota concept cars.
The company has not mentioned any official detail regarding its powertrain as of yet. The new 5th generation Prius, however, expected to undoubtedly achieve better fuel economy than the current model and will get better technology that will benefit its hybrid and PHEV configurations while strengthening its safety systems.
