The news have be circulating in the market these days that the 1.3 liter Corolla XLi and GLi variants are to be switched over by Vios Sedans in 2018 ,as planned by Indus Motor Company (IMC).

Despite the fact that lots of people  consider toyota will be debuting the Vios sedan being a substitution of 1.3 liter Corolla variants. The Vios ,many years ago was seen being tested on roads of Pakistan a couple of years ago. Since that cannot be taken as a general rule.

On the other hand, nearby is a great posibility of IMC bringing in the new Yaris Ativ sedan in place of the Vios. The Yaris Ativ is equipped with a smaller 1.2L 3NR-FE Dual VVT-i engine which generates 86 PS at 6,000 rpm and 108 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The new Yaris Ativ sedan, as unveiled in Thailand in August 2017, could play a essential role in the Toyota’s regional and global strategy. The Ativ , Launched just 2 months ago, has turn out to be one of the most victorious cars in Thailand being at 19th position among best sellers with 1.6% market share by now.

The swift triumph of the Ativ in Thailand could perhaps persuade Toyota to spread out the new sedan to other markets in South-East Asia, owing to the fact that the company has intended to launch the new Ativ sedan in 70 countries, typically rising markets.

On the other hand The Vios, with total sales of merely 2,32,000 units last year ,is sold in just a few of countries. Half of this volume is from China, with the rest frequently concerned in South-East Asia. It is also probable that in future the Yaris Ativ may totally substitute the Vios sedan.
