Federal Government has announced to introduce new traffic rules in Islamabad according to the international standards.
The decision was taken by the Interior Minister Ijaz Shah in the high-level session chaired, he said that the new traffic laws will be announced soon and rule implemented in the capital city strictly, the new traffic laws will be made according to the International Standards. The reason why the Federal Government follows international standard traffic rules is just to reduce the accident ration on the road and make a smooth flow of traffic in the city.
According to the details, authorities added that the person who has not to pay challan 3 times his/her driving license suspended by the authorities. Smoking is not allowed while driving according to the new law, smoking is the main cause of road accident because it distracts the attention of drivers and causes a road accident. Seat belt is compulsory for front passenger and driver this is a common thing that people did not follow and take this easy but this is a major reason of bad injuries in the accident seat belt safe the passenger and driver in the accident and if the driver and passenger will not wear seat belt they face a fine from the traffic police. The people who are driving on the road without a valid driving license will face strict action by the authority. Authorities also mention that any sort of traffic jam without any valid reason authorities will take legal action against the Superintendent Police (SP) and the officer who is on duty and all the laws applied on official too.
The deadline date assigned by the Interior Minister to complete the process and applied the new traffic rules in the city is 30th September. The main purpose to apply the strict traffic rules in the city is to maintain the discipline of traffic and control road accidents. From the last few months, authorities take action against all rules violators and charge a fine from them.
Not just in the Islamabad government applied a strict traffic rule all over the country to make a smooth traffic system in the country and control the road accidents. The dead ration by road accidents is very high in the country because the people did not follow the traffic rules and not take seriously. Government introduce new policies and applied fine on them is just to realized them the rules are made for us and for our safety.
