Overview:
The 2023 Honda WR-V has recently launched in the country of Thailand. The WR-V stands for Winsome Runabout Vehicle; it is a subcompact SUV and is the latest addition to Honda’s line-up of SUVs. Being positioned below the HR-V, the WR-V measures 4,060 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width, and 1,608 mm in height. The SUV has a wheelbase of 2,485 mm.
Variants of Honda WR-V 2023:
In Thailand, the Honda WR-V is available in two variants, The SV and the top-spec RS. The SV variant is priced at 799,000 Baht (Approximately 63.97 lac PKR). While the top of the variant WR-V RS is available for 869,000 Baht (Approximately 69.757 lac PKR).
Both of the variants are visually similar, with minor cosmetic differences that include Grille inserts and alloy wheels. The RS variant of the WR-V has 17-inch dual-toned wheels. While on the other side, SV has 16-inch 5-Spoke alloy wheels.
WR-V Engine Specs and Features:
The variants come installed with a 1.5L naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine. The I-VTEC DOHC engine delivers 120 horsepower and 145Nm of torque. The power of the engine reaches the front wheels via a CVT gearbox. The WR-V RS package has additional features which include 6 airbags, red inside stitching, LED front fog lamps, a rear armrest, paddle shifters, six-speaker sound systems, and last but not least Honda Connect telematics.
Features of Honda WR-V:
The Honda sensing suite is offered in both of the variants of SV and RS variants. The suite comprises the Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Departure Warning (LDW) Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control, and Auto-high Beam. While the RS variant is well equipped with the Lane Watch assist. This is not available in the SV variant.
The new 2023 Honda WR-V is an excellent option for customers who are looking for a compact SUV. The powertrain engine and safety features of the WR-V will surely attract customers.
