The National Highway is shut down on 18 March 2019 motorway M1 (Sawabi to Burhan) and M2 (Sheikhupora to Kalashah Kaku) for all traffic.
Apparently, The National Highway has shut down because of the preparation of the Pakistan Day parade. According to the news of social media, this has been done to facilitate PAF exercises. But when contacting to the Motorway representative he said that National Highways has shut down because of construction work he said we have not received any official notice to this effect.
According to social media information, speed radars have been installed on some parts of motorways. When contacting the Motorway representative person he said that this was not confirmed and that he would be able to confirm or deny it after March 30, 2019.
