The family of the automakers who saw leaders of success and opulence is Mitsubishi but now the tables are turning from the last ten years or so.The company put an end to its a variety of well-liked models counting the legendary Lancer Evo. And at the present there is news that the disturbed company will wind up recalling almost 50000 cars for the reason of the potential engine cut off error.

Mitsubishi Australia has recalled over 48,000 units of its Lancer, ASX and Outlander models. The Japanese company has recalled these cars over worries they could generate excess heat and cut out the engine mid-drive. The recall will be functional on Lancer (CJ & CF) 15-16MY, ASX (XB) 15-15.5MY and Outlander (ZJ & ZK) 14MY & 16-17MY.

The company has accounted that subject is connected to relays that get overheated for the period of operation and can fail, cutting the power off.

‘The affected Power Relay/s may generate excessive heat, resulting in relay failure,’ the ACCC said in a statement.

‘As a result, the engine may stall during driving, fail to restart or failsafe protection may be activated, with a loss of engine power.’

‘An unexpected loss of engine power may result in an accident.’

The vehicles were sold among December 2014 and February 2016.Customers are advised to get in touch with Mitsubishi Motors Australia on 1300 1312 11 or their chosen Dealer.

‘When parts become available, Mitsubishi Motors Australia will contact all known owners by mail and advise them to present their vehicle to their preferred dealer to replace the affected Power Relays,’ as said by ACCC .
