The media report claimed that MG car owners were not receiving transmission oil and that other spare parts were not available in the market. MG Pakistan added Parts clearance at the port has delayed due to certain factors. It went on to say that not only MG but other automakers are having the same problem.
Major factors Of Delay:

According to MG, the major factors of delay are as follows:
- Spare parts and other necessary materials are waiting for clearance, at Karachi port.
- Unusual floods have caused delays in inland spare parts transportation.
Some sources informed that the LC issue now being resolved as a result of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) opening them for spare parts. But the main issue at present is transportation, trucks tranded on the Sindh Highway due to flooding in the Indus River. The company has assured its clients that it will reconsider its approach to making stock available at all locations.
